What is breathwork?
Breathwork is an active and powerful practice where you intentionally use a variety of different breathing patterns, holds, and durations to quiet the mind and drop into the body. Breathwork can recalibrate your nervous system, clear anxious, sad, or sticky energy, spark creativity, offer visions and deep insights, heal trauma, and take you on a psychedelic ride.

common breathwork questions
What are the benefits of breathwork?
Put simply, energy clearing. Breathwork is a powerful tool for dredging whatever is ‘sitting’ in your system, including stress, anxiety, and trauma. It can also feel psychedelic and ecstatic if your body is available to go that deep.
What are side effects of breathwork?
Aside from shattering clarity and deep self love? The most common side effects during session are tightening and numbness in the hands and temperature fluctuation. You may experience some ‘crunchiness’ after session as energy re-settles in your system.
Is breathwork safe for pregnant women?
Meditative breathwork is not recommended for pregnant women, although integrative patterns can be very empowering. The practice can create intense emotionality within the system. Breathwork is safe to use when breastfeeding.
How often should I do breathwork?
This is highly personal. Just like any dee practice, breathwork interacts with everyone’s system a little differently. I can help you understand how best to integrate this practice into your life. Just ask!
What if I have high blood pressure or asthma?
If in doubt, you should always consult with a doctor before trying breathwork for the first time.
